Robber Asks Victim Out on Date

26-year-old John Jardini of Carrick, Pennsylvania is being held over for trial in the Allegheny County Jail. He is charged with robbery. What makes this story strange is that he called the victim for a date.

After robbing her of $60, Jardini called her twice from his cell phone and asked if she had a boyfriend and if she wanted to go out with him.

As the police tracked him down, Jardini reportedly assaulted the girl and her mother. He was arrested on the spot and positively identified by the girl he had robbed earlier.
