CafePress, an online custom merchandising company, launched its "Election Meter" at the beginning of November to monitor sales of merchandise for the 2012 Presidential Elections.
Early indications show that 79% of qualifying items for the "Election Meter" were anti-Obama while only 21% were pro-Obama.
According to CafePress, its "Election Meter" successfully predicted Obama's 2008 victory.
Real Clear Politics polling averages show Obama with a very slight edge of 43.8% over an unnamed Republican with 43%.
CafePress' "Election Meter" also shows trends. It shows that Herman Cain merchandise has a plurality of 39%.
