Shots Fired Near a Mall in Fayetteville, N.C.

Police officers were called to the Cross Creek Mall early Friday morning after receiving a report that shots were fired.

According to authorities, a fight broke out near the entrance of the food court at around 2AM which resulted in the shooting. From indication, the intended target of the shooting ran into the mall near Macy's. The shooter ran in after the individual and continued firing shots.

People had gathered outside the mall for Black Friday specials when the fight and subsequent shooting occurred.

Police are still looking for the people involved.
