The anti-capitalist, Canadian-base group, Adbusters, is calling for a global protest this Saturday to demand that the G20 leaders impose a 1% tax on all financial transactions and currency trades. This so-called "Robin Hood Tax" would used, according to Adbusters, "to fund every social program and environmental initiative in the world."
This organization sparked the "Occupy Wall Street" movement and wants to "dethrone the greed that defines this new century."
