Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr.'s Jobs Plan

Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. has proposed his own jobs plan. It will cost $804 billion and will employ all unemployed people. According to the plan, the government will employ all unemployed people and pay them $40,000 each. Additionally, state and local governments will also receive money to deal with budget shortfalls.

Jackson points out that the plan will be a 5-year plan and use $600 billion for the unemployed. $104 billion will be used to bail out the states while another $100 billion to bail out the cities.
